Red circles were drawn around the lowest WSD weeks of each epidemic season. Predominant influenza type and subtype were shown below the year. Predominant strains were defined by accounting to more than 50% of total detected strains in the early phase. *In 2000/2001 and in 2006/2007, no strain accounted to more than 50% of total detected strains, thus, the majority strain was shown, alternatively.
